  • Soldering the brake pad wear sensor - can anyone in Adelaide do this?

I posted this thread not long ago re my torn brake pad wear sensor and disabling the warning lamp. It looks like soldering it is the easiest/cheapest solution. It definitely doesn't seem too hard, but I also don't wanna mess up so as I haven't done anything like that and i'm wondering if anyone around the Adelaide area would be willing to do it? I'd pay for your time of course

If you dont know how to solder then best option would be to go to SuperCheap and get some of these. Then all you need is a pair of pliers to squash the connector to lock the wires in: SCA Electrical Terminals - Cable Joiner, 2.5mm Red, 15 Pack | Supercheap Auto

So you just strip the wires, then thread one in each end and squash down? Or you twist the ends together then put one of the joiners over it and squash down? Sorry if that sounds silly, but I’ve never really done anything like this

You can do either method - both will work.
