Hi, I have a 2010 90TSI manual. It has trouble starting.
Cranks over, won't fire.
Pull the ECM fuse (13 from memory), replace with the same fuse, fires first time.
Any clues?
Scanned and the only error was "Lost communication with the ECM"
Update. Had the Fuse panel under the hood replaced as it was believe that the "pull the fuse and it starts" was an issue with the fuse panel.
Sadly, we are back to the same issue.
Car will crank but not start. Pull the ECM fuse and immediately replace. Car starts first crank.
The car will continue to start multiple times through the day without issue.
Park the car over the weekend, try to start Monday morning.....cranks but not start. Pull the ECM fuse and replace, starts first go.
Very weird.
