Unless they are genuine (or at least from a reputable aftermarket brand) i would avoid. For $75 im guessing they would be non genuine.

I bought a $100/set of ebay for my Honda 2 years back. The fitment wasn't perfect (had to slightly file a plastic tab as it was too thick) but they are still working fine.

For a 118tsi I'd be aiming for the best coils and quality plugs I can find due to all the issues they have.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

I can only imagine that the ignition coil and other manufacturers are falling over each other who will be the top supplier to the eBay seller no234567.

I’d be very cautious getting critical components for the car from eBay. The chances are that you’d be fitting a complete reject or the 3rd grade quality part that instead going to be scrapped, somehow find the way to the eBay.

Just like the R8 coil packs that are “genuine”, made in Turkey and shipped from China. Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link

Agree. I just didn't quite say it explicitly.Originally posted by Transporter View PostI can only imagine that the ignition coil and other manufacturers are falling over each other who will be the top supplier to the eBay seller no234567.

Have a look here: 118tsi coil pack

As stated in that thread, i believe the part number is 036905715G (you would need to check your coilpacks and confirm). But if that part number is correct, there is a place in QLD who sells genuine ones for $50 each.
