Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

                    SL mercs are trophy wife cars. No midlifers.

                    I guess the GTI IS a midlife crisis car, just not in a bad way like all the others.

                    Just like to point out a few other things.

                    Seems some people on here are worried about their age. 29 is far from MLC... You'll die from thinking you are old well before you are old... If that makes sense.

                    2, saying its about time you got a fast car again after having family cars. Well yeah, thats the mid life crisis bit, you are having it!

                    Either way, I'm 24 and bought a Jetta. So what does that say about me :p

                      haha! i think that could be true. i was bored sh*.less waiting for my gf whilst she was having her hair appointment and seeing as i had no where to be i just waited. i couldnt stand waiting inside the salon so i went and stood outside. and in that time about 3 male hair dressers walked out and had a massive look at my car which was parked right out the front. i was mortified
