  • Lucas' MKV GTI "daily driver"

MY09 GTI reflex silver, Manual, 4 door, 130k and perfect books.

bought it as a daily while i built the mk4.
which was a smart idea, great for road trips and driving too and from work (100km daily)

    Bribie beach QLD on holidays

    love this car

    Then, this happened.

    and then it escalated.

i've always enjoyed racing. but i'm slightly addicted now and find myself wanting to mod the mk5 further while the mk4 hides away in the shed

    only done so far:
    AD08R
    Whiteline ALK
    bilstein struts
    Rear sway bar
EBC yellow stuff & endless 650S fluid
    billet subframe inserts
    CTS dogbone insert.

i've almost found the balance between comfort and track capability. need a downpipe and tune i think.
anyway i'll update here with my results or improvements over time.

Thanks mate, looks so much better with the black roof.
Where did you see the photos?

mk4 will be back later this year if all goes well. Hopefully putting down some fast laps too fingers crossed!
