Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    I got my windows tinted early this morning (35% legal tints) by Rob. Great bloke, highly recommended! Getting the car detailed next week so will post pics up then!

    Rob pointed out that my luggage compartment cover straps are missing! Not happy! I'm gonna have to make a trip down to the dealership to ask for them

    I also noticed that only one rear foglight comes on when reversing. I wonder if the bulb has blown.

      there is only sposed to be one reversing light

          I saw a GTI in town yesterday with on the LHS reversing light on...I thought the other one have blown.

          Wonder how hard it is to have the other working?

                    Twice as much light when reversing.....

                    One light is CHEAP!

                        I did an advanced and skidpan day today ESP is awesome hey, I could drive round really quickly on the skidpan and not loose it, car felt like it was falling apart with all the braking but it did its job.

                        And just for flying the VW flag, we did a timed motokana type course, I was fastest by 3 seconds to the next fastest

                        Pics. And yes I am about to clean it.

                            got it detailed and then bit the bullet and went for a drive to see sebastian and booked it in wednesday to get reflashed oh yeah cant wait
