Thermostat housing

Hi guys,

ive just installed a new thermostat housing in a 2.0 fsi and used so aviation sealant around the o ring and the block, now it appears to be leaking! My bad! It appears I shouldn't have used anything on it?

Thoughts anyone? If I should have used some sealant, what would you recommend?

No sealant at all.

A clean surface and a new o-ring is all you need.
