hi all,
Picked up my black gti with macchiato leather and dsg today. Ordered on Friday so got turned around in 3 days!
The macchiato leather looks stunning. It is a different colour to other ones I have seen. The car drives brilliantly and it's so hard to go easy on it.
Picks will come when I get my pc working again.

Picked up my Shadow Blue 2.0 TDI DSG Pacific yesterday at Mascot. It is sensational! So many new things to play with I dont really know where to start

I've been following these forums for a while and thank you all for helping me choose a new MKV.

Last weekend, I ordered a MY09 GTI 5dr DSG, Black Magic, leather, sunroof, RNS510, Bluetooth and rear parking sensors.

I'm expecting delivery in 2 weeks or so. After delivery, I'll have after-market tint applied ASAP.

Have been a member of this forum for some time now. Thanks to everyone - it has been a great help in making my purchase. Now the proud owner of a Pacific, TDi, DSG, United Grey, Sun roof. Got it on Friday and it has made the long weekend truly great. Wot a car!

I'm picking up my brand new Golf R32 tomorrow from Denlo VW Parramatta!!~
It is silver 5doors, DSG with sunroof and parking sensors as options.
The other mod I will probably do is one of those Waywell navigation unit.

Eight weeks later.... The Pacific has finally arrived!

Hi All,

After what was supposed to a 10 day wait, our manual TDi Pacific has finally arrived. Having purchased the car in the first week of December, we were told no problems, next week it will be here - how wrong they were! Without mentioning the dealer's name, one stuff up led to another stuff up which led to another stuff up which led to another stuff up..... I think you get the point - we were not a very happy campers.

Eight weeks later the car has arrived and I can say it was so very worth the wait! Immediately the surf boards were put on the roof and off we went. The car drives brilliantly and handles like a dream. The windy roads around Murwillumbah and Mount Warning were a great proving ground - I still smile now thinking about it. One thing though, where are the floor mats? I would have thought a 30K+ car would have such a basic feature as standard!?

That aside, what a great car!

I've had my fair share of stuffups/hassles with dealers within the past few months and I know what its like. Its great once everything is sorted out though. I went for a nice drive today and just about every second of the journey I had a smile on my face. The Golf is a beautiful car.

You could be right about the mats, but all the research I have done points to a non-standard extra.

The rims are the standard 16" Mugello's.
