At this stage the lower compression cars make less HP than the higher ones.
Problem is the boost sensor only runs to 1.5 bar, so you can't raise the boost any higher.
So the most HP we make out of a car (with stage 3) is with the AXX engine (05' model with 10.5:1 compression) - second is the BWA variants (10.3:1) and unfortuantely last is the newer ones (like the S3 with 9.5:1 compression)
Thats why the 30th edition is a great car - it runs the S3 turbo & fuelling & still has the higher compression
They are both good, depends on how long you want to wait.
If you want the new engine, dont order your car until September, then when it arrives in January it should have the new motor. If you order it now, it would still have the older motor.
Both are still a 147kw direct injection engine.
If you want to "tune" it - order one now, the new motor will take a while for the tuners to get prooduct out for them!

A: Quite some time if it follows previous practice.
It will be difficult to get any accurate information from VWA as it is in their best interests to deny everything until the new ones are actually in the country (otherwise people won't buy the old ones as they know they are about to be superceded).

Yep i agree was looking at a Honda Euro, i asked about the new model oh its 6 months away, that was in May and i've seen 2 already on the road "Ugly as sin"
I'm just waiting until next years my09 comes out....maybe Sept. Can't wait. Pretty sure I'll get the red 5dr. I did like the white but think the red looks better.
