Wow....always a great number of responses when it comes to wheels.

As for how much I get to spend, well that shouldn't be a problem. I don't want to skimp on a difference of hundreds of dollars if I am to be keeping these wheels for a while.

Probably leaning towards some 19" in either the BBS or the Oettinger.

Just weighing up ease of clean = oettinger vs better looking (BBS imo) but may be more expensive.

Last time I think the Oettingers were abouts $1,200 a corner without rubber bands, and the BBS slightly more.

The RXX Oettingers in 19" are $975 per rim - plenty in stock. Super easy to clean -

Also there are the RE styles as well if thats of any interest (18" = $790 per rim, 19" $890 per rim).

And our own GTI with the RE's for comparison:

meh, i never liked the Oettingers for some reason??

But - i LOVE those BBS, i would go for 18"'s a lil easier on the wallet.

from a purely performance standpoint i would go the OZ Ultraleggeras. there are BLOODY light. my mate fitted them to his Mini S JCW. they look the hot too.

but aesthetically i would go some BBS CHs any day

Haha yeah I noticed after, thats why I edited my post. Hahaha.

BOT though; I'm getting suspension delivered next week and installed 2 or so weeks after that, so we'll see if rubbing is an issue.

Oh yeah I personally like the Oettingers too.
