Hello Folk.
My wife is presently driving from Armidale to Gympie in our nearly 5 year old Jetta , 190 000ks, fully loaded with 5 adults.
In the last 30 minutes it seems to have lost power, ending up creeping over hills at near walking speeds after having gone through the gears to as low as 3 (out of 7).
Last month it had fitted 4 new injectors after 1 failed (New ones not compatible with old so had to change the lot)
Water temp normal and oil temp normal-maybe a bit low at 97 the last reading she gave me on the phone.
Tells me it speeds up to 100 ks OK but when hills appear it just loses momentum.
Im in Gympie; she s at about the Qld border coming this way.
Anyone have a similar experience? Or any words of advice?
