Howveer, mine was unreliable and I got rid of it due to faults not fixed (massive loss of power on take-off, and poor cold starting) even after 4.5yrs of ownership from new. The long list of things fixed in it's 45000km life included a new gearbox and new engine ...

      Ha Ha, the Freelander sure sets the benchmark

      Nothing else is as expensive to run, and nothing is as unreliable....

      Don't know if that still applies to the current models of LR (and can't afford to risk finding out), but maybe from now onwards you will be able to say Tata to unreliable vehicles
