        Nice job, Mischa!

        Those are seriously wide rims!

        You'll love how the colour coded GTI rear bar will look. But bear in mind that the last (bottom, rear) wheel arch screw won't fit (technically you'd need to order GTI rear wheel arch liners), but it made no difference to mine, so I never bothered about it.

        Make sure your painter applies etch prime before he starts applying the filler undercoat, otherwise you'll risk the paint coming adrift later. It's formulated to key into that 'skin' layer that's on the plastic. I know some folks sand the whole texture & skin off, but my crashy advised against this method. And judging by the dozens of bars in his shop waiting for colour coding, I figured I'd follow his advice.

        PS Are you painting the front valence too?

          Just get some spacers to phatten them out. 20mil poke is a lot and is guranteed a defect notice! You can then join the blue slip club with me
