The alloys on the non turbo Jetta models are called Atlanta s,and are the chrome ones with the grey finish.
I think suit the cars to a tea.
Have seen those fitted to quite a few Golfs too,as well as a Caddy.
Are also the standard wheel for the overseas Touran minivan.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I am considering selling my Classix wheels and tyres that will come with my Jetta TFSI. I pick up my car around Xmas.

I have never owned a VW before so don't know how much OEM wheels are worth. Can anyone give me a rough idea on their value??

I think you guys are thinking of the wrong rims, the GT rims come on the non-turbo Jetta from what I have seen, and the TFSI Jetta comes with a rim that is sort of a dual-5 spoke design, in a chrome finish.

          If you look here:

You'll see the rims I am talking about...

Also the Vision rims on the accessory page look pretty nice.

Hmm, on the Passat options there's an "Akiros" wheel that might be the one.
The rims on the TFSI jetta on the linked webpage are optional rims called 'charleston', which are 18", from the gang at volkswagen individual. The standard rims are the 17" 'Classixs'.

What area are you from faisan, I'm still looking for a rim upgrade. Although I'm now trying to decide whether I go the Classix or a set of Audi B7 RS4s like these. Either way I'm looking for 17"

My Namib 16" retail @ $450 ea. I think it is fair to say that most VW rims are priced from about $350 onwards.

I am in Winthrop (South of River) but I work in West Perth.

I guess it will come down to if you want an OEM or a different look. here is a link with Golfs on Classix http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4121824&page=1. Looks good I reckon. I think the Classix suit the Golf more than the Jetta.

If I can sell these, I will be going 18" VW wheels. Either Charleston or R32 wheels.

I wanted a full size spare for my Golf GT and barloworld quoted me around 650-750 for the 1 wheel. I don't remember whether that was including tyre. Conti Sports 2 go for about 200ea I think, so best case it's still 450-500 for the rim.

Well, that's a ways away from where I am. Would you (or anybody in Perth) know the approximate cost of shipping this sort of item to Melbourne?

Quite right, you only have to look on Ebay at how much rims go for, you can even get a set of GTI wheels with tires for around 700...

GTI wheel is around $570 from the dealer.

CSC2's are ~$400-500 each. CSC3's are around the same.

If you want a set of scrapped rims and worn tyres you can, for a set with low kilometers in pristine condition you're looking at $1500-2000 which is a damn good price as the CSC2/3's are $400+ each.

I have a brand new* spare set in my garage for my GTI that came off a GTI after purchase.

*close enough to with close to no kilometers.

The stud patterns are different. Golf4 has 5x100 and golf5 is 5x112. However because you need an offset of around 35 for a golf 4 and classixs have an offset of 50, you could fit 15mm stud pattern adaptors from H&R
