Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Melbourne is awash with meets these last few weeks, so glad they've all gone well.

    Small photodump from the recent Melbourne Car Meets event.













    This one is probably my favourite. The cops had a chat with me later on in the night about it.

      Another photoshoot has happened. Against my better judgement, it became a night shoot where every single blemish came up on my car. Unfortunately, the previous person to detail it, didn't do the best of jobs on it. 3 Stage Paint Correction with a HD Nitro Seal will be done in the coming weeks to make up for it. Hopefully it'll look immaculate after that.

          Finally got around to having a proper detail. Full 3 Stage Paint Correction with a HD Nitro Seal.

          All done by Pro Image Detailing for an awesome price. Hit them up if you're in Melbourne, they can cater to all budgets.

                Looks great post detail Jon - the metallic black looks awesome when all polished up.

                I assumed your paint was in better cond (prior to the detailing) due to how much you put it on display?

                  Yeah Lucas, my paint was excellent before I had it detailed by the wrong person who then ruined it. Now here's a photoshoot that really shows how good it is.
