Nice tyre, and are actually pretty cheap. But very noisy when wear is getting pretty low.Hennessy Auto Styling MK5 TDI [SIZE=3]|| United Grey || Sunroof & Leather || 18x8.5 +45 Rotiform BLQ and 17x8 17x9 +39 Stern Reverse Face II || K Sport Deluxe Air Suspension || After Market OEM Style Body Kit and Accessories!

I went away from the MC5 when I replaced my SC2 on m GT Sport as I read a number of reports about increased road noise when they get worn out. I was also wary of grip performance not being as good as the SC2. In the end I swapped them for a full set of PilotSport 3 (which are awesome).MY08 Mk5 GT Sport - sold

I think they are fine for the money (have them on a Mazda SP23)

I was in my local tyre shop getting semi slicks fitted for the next track day
We talked about the Continental MC5's (they are on my wife's Mazda3)
They said the MC5 is a good all round tyre but runs pretty short of expectations on mileage
