And one more thing...my mechanic says that my original steering module is faulty. .but when I connect it to ross tech it says Incorrectly coded

After putting back my original steering control module...I have calibrated steering angle sensor but still no luck...now instead of steering limit stop incorrectly coded I get steering limit stop mechanical issue.
My car seems a bit sluggish to start. Could it be that because of the battery being bad I get that steering problem still?
