Bought 06 MK5 1K Jetta 2.0TFSI, not sure if buyer's remorse :(
Don't worry if it got to 120,000km many things you listed there shouldn't fail all at once or anytime soon. Just make sure the maintenance is on time and good and you should have a solid car for a while.
I think that many here value their privacy and don't want always include too many details. I fully understand that and don't see the reason if someone wants to help with suggestions, you can post a few good places for servicing in NSW. Otherwise you can always post your experience with a good workshop in what ever area you're.

NSW is 810,000 km sq with a population of 7.5 million. Even if he said he was from Sydney it would only make him only 1 of 4.7 million in an area approximately 12,000 km sq.
There's really no point recomending a great mechanioc in Kiama if he lives at Gosford.
carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
I am in metropolitan Sydney (north-western suburb), and the former Jetta owner suggested me to go to the Wollongong dealer from where he got the car. He said he received decent service from them, and might be willing to keep looking after the car given they had some records. I, however, am not keen to spend 3-hrs round trip for just a minor service.
If you or anyone else has a reasonably priced mechanic with good VW servicing in mind, please share with me. The mechanic I used to have was not the cheapest and did not specialize in any particular brand of vehicles.
