i only got 300km from a full tank in a Polo 1.6 petrol loan car the dealership had given me. i wasn't even thrashing it. the engine felt sick and at times I was convinced there was a hole in the fuel tank
Not a VW,But on a recent trip to Tassie,Seven of us on motorbikes and a mate in his Subaru WRX STI,did the Gordon dam run,some may know it,one way in and out.93k's each way,Subbie was full of fuel on the way in and coughed to a stop empty at the servo on the way out. 54 litres in 186K's The bikes were pretty empty as well
600 on my first tank of diesel in my T4 2.5L TDI. I was towing a car for part of the time. What is normal for this vehicle??

The GT's worst so far is roughly 600, come to think of it thats about the average!
Had a TT Zed with 265rwkw on 20psi and emptied 65L of Optimax in roughly 250k's! Driving the longest straight piece of road in Aus will do that though, gotta love the out back!
