The GT's worst so far is roughly 600, come to think of it thats about the average!

Had a TT Zed with 265rwkw on 20psi and emptied 65L of Optimax in roughly 250k's! Driving the longest straight piece of road in Aus will do that though, gotta love the out back!

I got about 550 from my first tank, most ive gotten is 800, i rarely get more than 10km from the CBD though. the long runs add up, i went to phillip island twice last week and averaged 5.2l/100 both times getting there sitting at or a little above the speed limit.

Worse we have got (MKV GTI with a few mods) is 37 L / 100 - Best is ~7 L /100.

The 37l/100 was 55 laps of QLD raceway.

At the moment.......about 30,000kms/milli-litre. It's still on the boat!!!!

as for my fuel economy...

in the GTI the minimum i have ever gotten was 420km from its 55l tank

the Golf TDI hire car that my dealer gave me... well i only had it for 2 days but i got 12.4l per 100km out of it
