Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

The HPFP won't make much (or any) extra power up high, but improves the mid-range torque/power.
I liked the extra shove it gave in the mid-range for the $650 all up cost using a Autotech upgrade (incl. the APR upgraded tune cost). I think the APR pumps are almost double this cost.

You can get the Autotech HPFP kit for around $450. If you are handy with the tools you can install it yourself, otherwise it might cost you an hour or so labour at a workshop. See my DIY here for the Autotech: Autotech HPFP Upgrade full DIY guide with pics
My DIY also lists a few places to buy the Autotech HPFP kit. MPS Garage has got them for a good price at the moment, and that's where i got mine from.Last edited by Lucas_R; 10-01-2014, 08:56 AM.
