Evening all,
I have an 06 Golf Sportline (I've had it since April '13) and the previous owners managed to break the front passenger seat headrest. Not sure what they were doing to break it... It's droopy and remains it no matter how you move it. My parents Skoda and the drivers seat headrest are firm and are able to be moved forward and backward, and put simply, aren't broken. I was curious and went to a VW dealer purely to see if they could come up with anything, not to get it replaced, and the only solution they had was to replace the whole headrest (at $458!!!!!) as they'd literally never had anything like it. While I didn't care so much when I bought it (I don't sit there, so meh), passengers prefer sitting in the back as it's apparently so annoying, so it became one of my new years resolutions.
My question to everyone is, has anyone ever experienced such a thing and how the hell do I fix it?
Cheers in advance.
