Hi Guys,
I have been running into an issue recently with my 2007 Golf GT Sport and what I think is it's PCV.
Essentially I have been lacking power in the lower rev range for the last couple of weeks and then the other night took off from a friends place put my foot down a bit, a lovely pop from the exhaust then engine warning light as I got down to the bottom of the road.
We plugged in the VCDS and this is what fault code came up:
001092 - EVAP Purge Control Valve (N80)
P0444 - 000 - Circuit Open - Intermittent - MIL ON
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 10110000
Fault Priority: 0
Fault Frequency: 3
Mileage: 102941 km
Time Indication: 0
Date: 2000.00.00
Time: 19:31:25
Freeze Frame:
RPM: 2143 /min
Load: 10.2 %
Speed: 68.0 km/h
Temperature: 78.0°C
Temperature: 27.0°C
Absolute Pres.: 1010.0 mbar
Voltage: 13.716 V
Am I correct in thinking this is the PCV on it's way out, or something else??
