Hi again,
I posted earlier on a problem with the radio reception in a Jetta TDi still under warranty) and how I was getting the run around from the dealer. I have had advice from RACQ that the problem is most likely a poor or loose contact, and not the tinted rear windscreen the dealer would like it to be.
I had the vehicle in again a fortnight ago (3rd time) and insisted they investigate properly. After "checking and cleaning all contacts" there was no improvement, but I got an acknowledgement that there was indeed a problem. They undertook to contact the VW Rep and seek his advice. I rang the dealer today to enquire on any progress, and they said they would ring back. I'm still waiting.
What I need now is a contact at VW Australia, name/phone/address/email so I can contact them direct. I have already tried through the "contact us" link on their website 6 weeks ago, but that has been ignored also. I need this information so that I can tell the Office of Fair Trading, when I put it in their hands, that I have exhausted all avenues available to me.
Thanks for any help
Brian
