Need Advice dealer says Mechatronics failure , Im not sure.

BTW part# "VWN91084501 Seal, Trans Oil Filter HR" is the O-ring on the base of the Trans filter. Like your parts list mine doesn't mention the actual filter (VW02E305051C). They wouldn't have gone to that trouble and not replaced the filter right??

Don't know why they would list the filter seal but not the filter itself. But refer to Umai Naa!! post above - he states that the filter is not changed with a mechatronics job. Maybe I was lucky to get it included?

I'd suggest going back and clarifying at the dealer - then you'll know for sure.

Mine always started in 2nd on flat surface and only 1st on a slight slope previous to the mechtronics replaced but
now always in first.
