GTI needs new injectors

I had the injectors replaced on my TSI this year at ~95,000km. This was done under extended warranty and initially only cyl #1 was replaced. During the test drive after replacing #1 the engine exhibited the same characteristics so the system was again checked and cyl #2 was then found to have failed. After a lot of back and forth between VW, extended warranty all 4 were eventually replaced.

Considering they have all done the same amount of work and are the same age (of course if 1 is found to be faulty then that's a different situation altogether) it doesn't surprise me.

GTI needs new injectors

Well it does seem to be all sorted. Picked it up tonight and it drives pretty much perfect. Easy start and runs smooth with no dodgy idol. Hopefully that'll be the end of it.
Big shout out to Vince at Brookvale Auto too who sorted it Nd all for a good honest price. Top work.
