Previous - Jetta MkV 147 Turbo, Viezu Raceday mapped, Carbonio CAI, Quad Exhaust System, R8 Coil pack, Whiteline Swaybar, GTi Steering wheel with paddles, Alloy pedals, RNS510 & Leather. -
They aren't struts, just normal config shocks (struts would have the spring integral to the damper assembly). They'd take a bad Mechanic about 1 hour to change (3 bolts per side)
It's the same part as a MkV Golf or a 1Z Octavia.
If you intend to keep the car for a while then buy Koni Yellows. Try Fulcrum Suspension.
If you just want something to tide you over then Bilstein 300 or Sachs OEM replacement.
