I have a 08' 2.0 T Jetta, what is thecheapest way to improve sound from exhaust?
remove certain mufflers has been suggested to me....opinions please!!
I have a rear assembly from a 08 Golf GTI you can have. It had done 29K when I replaced it. Not sure if it will even fit your car, but if you want it, its yours.
Would like to know this as well... Anyone else have any other suggestions?
Cheapest thing I've found to get decent sound would be buy an exhaust online and then get it installed here. Or maybe a custom made one. Eh still looking.
Good stuff i heard others say to keep the central resonator and remove the rear muffler and straight pipe that to tips. But whatever works in the end to get the results you after

Not really, plenty of guys overseas do it. Here's a clip of my car. Stock DP, resonator still in place only removed rear muffler and replaced with stainless steel ending in 4inch magnaflow tips. http://http://youtu.be/576O8Io4mrw
