Im trying to organise a group buy on another forum for these oil and coolant caps, and i thought i would share the info here too incase any Mk5 owners were interested. These caps are a direct replacement for your original plastic caps - no modifications necessary.
As a different and much cheaper alternative to the Audi R8 oil and coolant caps (and cheaper again than JCaps and Forge caps) the Porsche oil and coolant caps also fit VAG engines and are a definite improvement over the stock black/blue plastic items.
These will fit:
- Passat R36
- Golf R32 (Mk4 and Mk5)
- Golf GTI (MK4, Mk5 and Mk6)
- Golf R
- Polo GTI
- Bora, Passat & Tiguan etc
- Skoda vRS Octy
- Audi's
I can get these at about 1/2 the price of the equivalent Audi R8 items. (normally the R8 items are about $80-90 EACH delivered)
Just seeing if there is any interest in the Porsche oil and coolant caps here. If i can get interest (and deposits) for 10x or more then i will be able to sell them locally to you for about $45-50 each (or $90-100 for both if you want both) including local delivery from me to you. The more you all want, the cheaper they will be.
If i can get interest and deposits then delivery would be around mid-late April.
