Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

In most cases I would agree but the way it was done on the Jetta looked good IMO. Having it in the middle instead of the bottom of those lower grills looks better and I reckon you could pass it off as factory to most people.

the only thing cheap and tacky about that front end is the small chrome strips. if they weren't there it'd look awesome. much better than the yellow fogs IMO.

cheap and tacky, lol, that MUST be the reason why they fit them to Audi's.

Fog lights have a different purpose to DRL's and you can fit whiter globes to the fog lights anyway.

The car is designed with that part in mind! And it looks good on the car because it's designed to be there and fits into place.

Sure you can fit an Audi grille to the front of your Golf but just because you can do it doesn't make it the right thing to do. Like sleeping with your sister, you can do it but it's so wrong. There are people that do both and if it floats your boat then by all means go ahead.

OT but why don't VW AUS have this car here. It looks right up our buying public's alley, very nice.

they probs cost more than the OEM S6 ones.

Though, tmtuning have a set by inpro which are half the price of the S6 lights

                                DRLs

I have a 2009 model R32 and i would like to find out of an auto electrician who can order the Audi S6 style DRLs and fit them onto my R32 asap.

                                It's a great look.

I am from Sydney , Australia.
