Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

imo the r32 looks better with them as the have HID lights where yours are yellow, so the led lights are very white it will look a bit imo.

still reckon they'd look cool on my car with no foglights though; it'd look like they were sitting on the ground cos the car is so low

Misch is young enough to perhaps pull it off, not my cup of tea, just screams "couldn't afford the Audi" to me.

Does work with the uber cool R32 look though.

Misch I put some yellow 70W bulbs in my fogs, and it certainly looks different, throws good light, and suprisingly, actually works in fog!

same could be said about the hundreds, if not thousands, of modders who buy porsche, merc, bentley etc. wheels for their car. it's just an odd look that suits, grab parts off different cars. some of these o/s VAG cars have in excess of $60K of work done. you can't call that "i couldn't afford it".

to me it just screams style and originality, and a high five to those who thought of it and are game enough to do it.

Mischa, if you have the cash, do it!!

I dont think anyone in Australia has done this mod yet.

If i had the money, i'd do it too, but in the middle of my grill instead of the bottom.

Mischa, why don't you just buy an Audi and be done with it, it's not like you'd be turning traitor

I'd say (contrary to what i voted) replace the foggies with them.... would look great on a golf i think.

Be easier to wire them up then wouldn't it?

If you're gonna do it Mischa, lose the fogs. Or install a lift kit and take it off road!
