great standard or lightly modded car. Not worth modifiying it IMO - you would need to spend a considerable amount (supercharge or turbo) to make a considerable change in performance.

Its not a straight 6, its a v6, very narrow angle but still a V.

yes im aware its a v6, the VR6 is also able to use the firing order of a straight-six engine.

If money permit, lookup United Motorsport / Blue Water Perfomance E85 tune. Get it as flex tune that is self switch-able between fuels + get DSG tune.
It will wake up the car a bit on E85.

Other than that, no point. R32 is farly nice out of the box, you cannot get any significant increases out of it, unless throwing considerable amount of cash in aka cams, SRI, turbo/super.

i had the APR trial tune on my mk4 R32, it was really nice, it revved much happier and it was more responsive. I liked it but APR wanted $1500 at the time and i just could not justify it.
Just had a look at their website, single program is $795 an i think its worth it. I wouldn't go for any more than that, its just useless toys that you will play with twice

I actually got UM from USA to send me 'special' cable to enable ECU flash. Then set up my laptop as a 'dealer' and flashed my ECU and DSG via internet.
Cost, do not know how much it is now. Email them, see what are the options. They may have distributor near you.

With an intake and an exhaust on your car, getting a tune will bring out a bit more in the car. You'll feel the difference a tune gives you but don't expect a huge change - it does round the car's engine performance out though - plenty of options such as APR, GIAC, Optimum Code etc.

If you have a DSG, there are tunes for that too and there is apparently a quite noticeable change (run a manual myself). From all reports a DSG tune worth checking out.
