Hi All,
Been reading the forum for while and finally decided to join up.
Great info/ Great forum.
I am looking at getting a Pirelli. I really like the way they look.
I wanted to ask for few opinions.
There are few for sale on carsales.com and I have noticed they take long time to sell. Some of them have been on there for few months. I keep an eyes on gtis as well (YM06+, DSG, Leather under 60K) and have noticed that when they are priced reasonably (25k-28k) they seem to go with in 4 weeks usually.
Pirelli seem to take a lot longer and they seem to be a bit overpriced. There is one on carsales at the moment for 30K and it has been there for few months just like few other ones, he started with a lot higher price but evenly droped it down.
One of my good friends saw it few months back and he said the car is in reasonably good condition with some damage to the rear door panel and few scratches on one of the wheels. Can be fixed($1000-$1500)
Another thing he said is the car is always parked outside (the guy has no garage from what he can see) most of the time.
How would that effect the paint and the leather being exposed to weather all the time as we all know we get some hot sunny days through out summer?
Also the rego just expired and its due for service.
How much should I offer him..
Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated.
