I have pretty average eyes (and rarely wear my glasses when driving) and i have no issues at all reading the mkv gti dash, in fact the bright blue analog dash at night is actually easier to see then the green digital dash in my brothers toyota soarer. Its just what you becomes use to, you have became comfortable with a digital dash but after a week in the GTI you will be converted back to analog.
