Knocking noise over speed humps

Hey has anyone had a knocking noise going over sppeed humps even at a slow speed? i have noticed a thump from front left side occasionally, not every time but. had a quick look under car but cant see anything that could be causing it. anyone had a simillar problem or knows what it could be ?

I had a similar problem in a Polo GTI, and it turned out to be missing a rear rubber grommet that kept the airbox stable. I shoved a rag between the airbox and firewall and noise was gone, so I got the new part for ten bucks or so from VW.

I also have this but under moderate acceleration/braking and sometimes when I turn. I mainly get this from the front right (in front of the foot well) and sometimes from the left side...
