I had a test drive of a diesel GT a few weeks back and was very impressed by it. The DSG worked very well in concert with the diesel, and it seemed a very capable package. Mid range grunt was amazing. I'd happily own one.

I won't be swapping the R32 for one, but next lease, who knows.

Both the GTs seem to be more powerful than their 125kW would suggest.
I'm guessing it's all that torque available from so low down.
They just pull in any gear, with the overall effect being that you're driving a 2.5 litre.
