Somewhat? The lip and lights look tough. The stock exhaust is pretty boring in comparison. Big APR quad exhaust would look great. But probably to mainstream for you.

For quads you be butchering that beautiful rear valance though! Could maybe get some tips to fill out the cut out a bit, but quads would be a big job!

Saw this at JDMST last night, and all i can say is wow. Such a neat looking Jetta. Hopefully over the next year ill be driving one.

In regards to your numberplate issue, have you seen this before? Altec Retractable License Plate Holder - 400EU This is what ill be doing if/when i get a Jetta.

Where did you order the Cherry red lights from?

I also reckon the Jetta looks ace with quad rears - suits the sedan style - but not a cheap mod that is essentially only for looks.

I ordered them through ECS and had a mate work on them to remove the inner lenses. The quad exhaust would look fantastic but as you said, it would only be for looks.

Was in a mates Silver EG. Dunno if you saw it, was rocking L plates, haha.

No problems about the link. It hit me last night after JDMST, i was wondering how it could be done, then i remembered a video i saw of an Evo X in the states with one.

Know a place where I can get your OEM side and rear skirts? Not into the front one so much.

I may have seen it, there were a few EG's around haha. It says that that particular part is for the Mustang, might have to jewtube a few videos to see how compatible it is for the Golfs and Jettas. How epic was that meet! Those guys know how to rock a good get together!

I got my sides and rear from oemplus.com, and I think they've recently come down in price thanks to the Mk6 being released.

Incase you hadnt found one, heres one of a Mk5.

Yeh, ive been to a few JDMST meets before, all in different locations, but this was hands down the best one, and probably the best location too, minus the lack of parking. I went to a Euro meet at the end of last year time over near Eagle farm and there was pretty nice cars there, but it'll take time to get numbers anywhere near what JDMST are pulling.

I used semi-slicks, launch control and a lot of wheel spin.

Thanks man, I did find the Mk5 one. I'm just worried about scraping it if I put it under the front lip. I might even get the manual one just to limit costs and effort, even though the electric one would be great for rolling shots.

We'd be lucky to pull even half the number of what the JDM meets are pulling. Stay tuned though, a Euro even for next month is in the planning

What are you measuring it with?

I can never best the factory claim 7.2secs, even with lauch control, wheelspin till about 5k in 1st then shifting to 2nd and wringing its neck.

Are you running any mods? What tyres did you use?

Cheers, but I can't seem to find them? They are the one's from the GLI in the US just body coloured right? Cause I did some research and they look the same.

I'm only running the APR 1 tune, coilvers and the Federal 595 RSR tires (well I was, had the swapped for RPM's today). I was using a mate's GTech which I hear can be a little optimistic sometimes.

Yeah they're parts from the GLI. They were originally satin/textured black but I had them professionally sanded and sort-of colour matched to the car.
