For comparison, mine was lowered ~45mm all round and measurements were 130mm just in front of rear wheel, but there is part of the undertray a bit further towards the front which is 110mm (and lowest point on mine).

Always welcome man, you'd probably find it in Toowong first thoughOriginally posted by AusScare View PostI'll come round one day this week to check it out!
That's the lowest point on mine as well, have you attempted removing the guard? Have you scraped it much? I imagine mine's just going to shave off inch by inch until there's nothing leftOriginally posted by JET147 View PostFor comparison, mine was lowered ~45mm all round and measurements were 130mm just in front of rear wheel, but there is part of the undertray a bit further towards the front which is 110mm (and lowest point on mine).

Yeah I like the idea of ramps, but I wouldn't wanna scratch the front lip/exhaust (done one of each already).Originally posted by AusScare View PostProbably easier to just buy some ramps, or planks of wood to drive onto before jacking it up. That's my plan for the mk2 once it gets down to 70mm from the ground.2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon

I make "steps out of 3 blocks of wood (just pine slats) on each side.
put one block in front of each tyre, drive onto that. build the next step with 2 blocks in front of each tyre, drive onto that.
Then get the jack under there
I'm a AA battery off the ground.

Very true... I'm actually too scared to drive it hard just in case it decides to go all Mexican on me.Originally posted by Wolfgang View PostI would laugh at this comment but it is too frightningly true.
I won't make any comment on how the car is looking until new pics go up.
Wheels are on, 32MKV is gonna come over and we'll go grab some happy snaps.2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon
