    Looks tight Alex.
Front could probably go half an inch lower for the perfect height.

Not going to colour the wheels?

And the last shot, is an S8?

Looks great, shame you have to put a plate on the front.

Thanks man, I got them from PPQ. They're called 'Signature' series.

        you on coilovers?
Yeah, I'm on XYZ Coilovers. I can't wait to see that Jetta done, we're gonna be replacing the Golfs at the Nats this year

Thanks Clay, I totally agree. 20mm at the front and it'd be perfect. I need to find a way to get rid of the under-guards so I can drop it legally.

Don't talk about it, I'm thinking of running an accessory plate simply because my car's been accessorised

I can confirm the awesomeness of this car IRL.

Nothing wrong with raising the rear a little and bring the front down a touch. Rake ftw.

The Jettas garage buddy blew my mind.

Also, how much they cost you?

From seeing this in person it actually looks alot better than Alex's n00b photographer skills.
This should be good for your confidence Alex! Lookin' good.

P.S needs 5mm spacers all round and a little more low in the front.

Yeah, Laminex yellow lense and yellow bulbs to actually give it a yellow colour. Doing only one of each will give a urine colour on the light itself.

                  I picked them up for $2k from a Sydney private sale. They're 18x8 with a 50 offset.

Ssshhhh, I've actually been complaining that they're too stiff for Brisbane roads and I'll need to soften them up a little. The roads around Toowong especially are completely destroyed and they make the car crash around like a bumper car.

Looking nice! Can you lower the back anymore? There's 2 ways to lower a car, looking at the wheel/guard gap and lower it level or looking at the side skirt/body line and leveling that. I'm going coilovers so I can do the latter.

                        What are your thoughts?

That's the lowest point on mine as well, have you attempted removing the guard? Have you scraped it much? I imagine mine's just going to shave off inch by inch until there's nothing left
Nup, i guess the question is what it's actually guarding underneath? Don't think i've scraped it as yet, so not planning on removing it myself.

Only slightly scraped tips on a steep driveway so far. Front lip has about 130mm clearance so not too low.

Love the CH's, very nice. The size and offset is probably a perfect fit without any rubbing i'd think?

Mine are 19x8.5 +45 and surprisingly only had a minor bit of modification needed at back of rear arches (just needed to file back a 5mm corner of metal that was sticking out where bumper line meets body).

True, slightly wider rim and offset contributes too though.
Mind you only really happened with a car load of people, half a boot full and hitting decent bumps/dips in melbourne's quality city roads.
