Looks great, speak to Dragan at Inmotive about some KW V3's for it. As a matter of fact I may be selling mine off my R and upgrading to the stage 3 motorsport suspension so Dragan will probably do you a good deal on them.

V3's are excellent easy to adjust and have worked perfectly since i got them. Dragan got some settings for me from KW Motorsport and I haven't really changed them much from those settings other than to see what it was like softer at one of the events. The car handles like it is on rails now and along with the H&R front and rear swaybars the suspension is how the car should have come from the factory now.
VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it

Would love to make it down...'bout time I caught up with a few of you guys!!!
Thanks everyone for letting me know I have made the right choice with these rims!
ONE SMALL PROBLEM THO: we cannot get the damn things balanced on the car properly. They are balanced perfectly, aligned perfectly, we have tried different hub rings....but we are now stumped.
Any help or advice much appreciated
We think we have narrowed the problem down to either the hub rings or the studs. The studs are 14mm by 120, however, in VAG's infinite wisdom, they do not thread their hubs right to the outside edge, the first 6mm inside the hub is smooth, leaving us with only 7mm of purchase on each stud bolt. We think this may be causing the rims to not centre correctly, so are trying to source an alternative (longer stud). We have also measured up the hub centre and space and are going to custom machine some rings on Tuesday. This will hopefully give us a better fit than the poly ones.
Tracks straight at all times, handles beautifully, rides a heap better.....you can certainly feel what difference a lite weight rim makes. Converted in this respect. But once over 90km/h, she gets the shimmies up.
Will let you all know how we go with this ongoing wheel saga. Maybe i should just go back to OEM, curl up and admit defeat!

When I got my Superleggeras for my MKIV they came with the studs from Oz that were definitely different to the OEM ones. Did you get studs with the wheels or are you using the stock ones that came with the car? The seating method of the stud may be different from Oz to VW, for example Taper seat - most aftermarket wheels, Ball seat - most factory wheels. While they look similar they definitely are different. The Oz wheel studs were also different in length.

Thanks Al & George for your wisdom! The knowledge of the forum shines again!
I am using studs supplied by my local MJ store. They have been great to deal with so I got them to fit the rims up.
They have used a 26mm shaft stud (14mm & 1/2 thread pitch which is correct) with a 60 degree taper seat. After talking to Milan at TCCA today (awesome bloke, more than happy to help....use him if you need anything VAG!!!) and doing a bit of investigation of the rims and hubs, we have worked out that I need a 38-40mm stud shaft with a ball taper seat. Coupled with the custom machined hub rings that we got made up today, this should fix the dramas.......

Good to hear you got it sorted, I'm a bit perplexed why Tire Rack didn't provide you with the correct hub rings though. Like I said mine came with the studs and also the hub rings from OZ.
