I imagine there would be very little in power gains it might feel a little more freed up but this would most likely be higher in the rev range. My biggest concern is if there would be any loss of low down torque due to lack of back pressure however this may not be a concern. It's hard to find really good advice for this no-one really seems to know. they can be put back, but it might start looking a bit messy down there. I wouldnt do it more than once.
