I've got the jetta in for a 105,00k service today.
The service consultant rang about an hour after dropping it off.
Now I knew the rear pads were very low (and suspected rotors too) but the bad [good] news is:-

front pads and rotors
cam belt and preventative water pump
EGR valve clean (maybe replace)
rear pads and rotors
AND wiper blades for good measure
All the usual suspects at this age/distance.
After reading about many other watercoolers experience the reality has finally caught up with me. I'll let you know how much they charge my leasing company for the privilege of VW motoring.
Cheers,
