    • Cam, you're a pic whore , but I love your subject.

If I can offer a piece of advice, watch the amount you have in the fore ground (trees & sky are more interesting than gravel, trees, sky & clouds more intesting than grass). Use the 1/3, 2/3 method.

You've got a couple of great pics there.

        Yeah I am a pic whore...cant help it..lol!

        Thanks for the advice.
I'm not a great photographer unfortunately, more of a point and shoot person. I get lucky with most of the good ones.

I was once told by the (Ex) Official Photographer for VAG products in the UK (who now lives in Adelaide) that he takes many, many pics. Only a few a worth while. That helped me alot.

I take many pics in the hope there is one good one.

Keep it going, I know you'll get there with just those two guidelines.

            • Yeah I must have taken about 30 pics today. I'm always looking for excuses to drive the golf somewhere, taking pics is one of them...hehe

              The dashmat is great!
Fits very neatly and I think it looks great. At work I park outside and for most of the day the car is directly in the sunlight, the dashmat definitely helps protect it. The sun visor also helps a great deal.

Dad (Russ59) got them off a store on ebay. The guy was very quick and the price was pretty good. I'm sure he can remember what store it is, I can't off the top of my head.

                    • Gave the soot machine a bit of a bath today, just a tidy up. Needs to be clayed and waxed.

Was feeling lazy so just sprayed the wheels with cleaner and blasted them with the pressure washer (my latest toy) > snow foamed > high pressure rinse > 2 bucket method wash > high pressure rinse > waffle weave towel dried > spray on wax > took it for a spin to get rid of that nasty rust on the brake discs.

Got my stubby antenna from Dub Addiction last week. Next is slimline plates, iPod adapter and then tint (really hardcore mods). I was quoted 4.4k to have an RNS510 + MDI fitted... thanks but no thanks Mr VW.

Sorry about the quality - Photobucket autoresizing ftl. I will do them in iPhoto next time.

Then I got a aftermarket stereo installed with a GPS headunit for less than a RNS510 cost

Took it for a drive through the royal national park

                            • You're obviously not planning on using the boot space anytime soon then

Nice car by the way and Bald Hill at Stanwell Tops is such an awesome view isn't it. Slightly off topic (sorry) I remember bush trekking along the mountain side about half way down from the edge there, tool kit in hand and backpack ready, looking to collect spares from cars that had been put off the cliff there usually found a few handy spares.
Anything really good was well and truly gone by the time I got there for a look though, unfortunately
