My golf was supplied with a VW first aid kit, but I paid for it. It came as part of the protection kit with the original order.

I put a small fire extinguisher in the little space at the RHS in the boot.

And rather than a triangle, I bought a fold-up witch's hat from SuperCheap a few weeks ago. This also fits perfectly in the same area. Hope I never have to use them.

This is my genuine German VW motorsport first aid kit. ....A real collectors item and it fits the holder exactly right!!

I saw that bracket on the LHS of the demo 5dr GTi and I asked the saleslady - she said it was 'for things'.

I had to give her credit for thinking on her feet.
