I've got an 08 R32, which I'm looking to sell for something a bit bigger. My requirements are basically something powerful that's AWD. So looking at things like the Liberty, A4 and of course the R36. I've never driven one yet, just wondering if anyone's gone from a R32 (or Gti) to the R36 and what their thoughts are.

I wouldn't get a liberty.
The new ones look like shiet and the interior quality will be underwhelming coming from a euro car.
The a4 is probably your best bet.
The R36 will set you back around 70k.

No looking at 2nd hand and noticed a few on CarSales for early 50s, low kms, which is in the ball-park.

Second hand (previous model) liberty's look the goods but its still a jap car and hence lacks soul and quality in the interior.
I would still look at the A4/R36 option in the seconed hand market.
Liberty if you are pressed for finance.

Funny there's a few Subaru guys are going into Euro's and the Euro crowd the other way round. I'm exiting the STI for something Euro but I can't make up my mind and probably won't till the R comes out nowOriginally posted by Zed! I have a Lib GT spec B wagon for the family runabout and its a beast. I did look at the R36 but it was significantly more expensive and I knew I could get a decent amount of grunt out of the GT with a simple reflash. With the R36's whilst we do them too there is only so much you can do, they have a great midrange but the top end is on par with the GT perhaps less. The GT uses less fuel once tuned too.
The R36 has the Euro interior though and if you could have one for the same price in a manual hmm I think the R36. Oh and just completely forget the new MY10 Lib GT if you have any pride.
RS4 Avant ??
