Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

if you see Tony's 192kw run, you can see that he has heaps more torque down low and that is Tony's daily driving setting. 390nm is pretty damn impressive from just a k04.

all cars performed very well considering the heat! the stage 3 s3 was awesome!

from my perspective, the day was well run and had a blast meeting all you sydney peepz and had a great chat with you guys!
Indeed. Sorry we didn't get to chat more Terrance. I went out for a drive to run down my fuel so add the 104 mix. I wasn't even sure I could get on there for a second run.

Glad you guys got to have a better chat with Tendy and got to show the AWE kit. Kudos. You guys must've been hammered by the time you got back. Thank **** it's a public holiday tomorrow. =)

      Eurospeed guys,

If you care to enlighten me, which tune was on Tony's car that day?

Tony is running GIAC tune, 200kw run was done on low boost hence no torque. 192kw/390nm run was daily driving tune (higher boost).

The GIAC extreme tune was run by both Tony and Jim.

          it is listed on www.eurospeed.net.au

          requires VF K04 Intake
          Upgraded Fuel Pump
Strongly suggested upgraded intercooler and Exhaust

This thread has already run its course and as with every MKV forum thread has begun deteriorating into a slinging match.

              Have a better one!
