Guy has some yokohama advan sport's and says they are quite good, how do the S-drives compare?
Cant compare them as I havnt driven on the sports. Some pepole I know have, on BMW 3 series and only comments were going off in hard prolonged track use, which I wont be doing. (Same applies to 99% of road tyres I suppose.)

We have 47k kms on our OEM tyres (to be honest...I can't recall if they are Dunlops or not - will have a look when I get home this coming week).
Just had a service yesterday.......Joe (Golfwagen - Wangara) reports that they are fine. Front pads have a bit more to go.......all good.
[offtopic] Big +rep for Joe and Wade at Golfwagen.....always great service delivered with a smile. Thanks for looking after the .:R /[offtopic]MY16 Touareg 4.2Lt V8 TDI/Pure White LED lightbox/REDARC Brake Controller/ Racechip/iDrive Throttle controller

My sport maxx were getting noisy after 10,000k, wouldn't get them again and not for the price even though they are a 'premium' tyre.
I've done about 13,000km on those Falken RT-615's but only about 1-1.5mm left on the inside edge on the rears, don't think i'll be getting those again unless i can source them cheap. Great tyres but don't last that long.
In the past I had some Yoko A539's that were great, they don't make them anymore but i'd consider them as a brand still but the F1 Asymmetrical's seem the best (but not the cheapest, also not sure if anyone has been running them long term yet).

After a couple of weeks now I am still happy with the purchase. Good turn in and positive grip.
The slightly wider tread gives a more square look on the rim. I like that over the stretched look, also gives 'little' more protection when near a kerb.
Ive had the front liner screw rub a few times. Must get around to removing and tucking in the liner.
