      Why would you try the downpipe and different spark plugs?

      The car is fine stock.

      The car is not fine when flashed.

      The answer is obvious, talk to whoever supplied the flash and ask them for a fix for the problem.

        Yes, on some things VW sets pretty low standards - eg they claim that an engine that burns 1 litre of oil every 1,000km is of acceptable quality !!!

          Just going back to the original topic -

          If anyone has a Pirelli that is modified and is getting the misfire problem, contact me & I'll arrange a free of charge trial of our software.

          Have not had one that we have not solved the issue with now.
