divertor valve

Hi GUys I need a Divertor valve on my mkv gti
Which way should i go??? after market or original product.
Apparently the one in my car is a bit sick and not boosting properly.
What have you guys used??

The best one to go for is the newer D revision OEM piston style DV. It performs just as well as the aftermarket ones and is more reliable than the older diaphragm type

You can see the part number on the photo. Dealer charges anywhere from $150 - $180 for them. Ive sold out but should have more stock later next week.

all you need is some jack stands and a jack!

Its best attacked from under the car on a standard GTI. Its pretty straight forward once you find the bugger.
THe pirelli boys have it lucky cos its remotely mounted at the front of the engine bay.

No more pissy diaphragm and its electronic so instant response as opposed to say a Forge mechanical unit. I think its from an Audi. I know a bloke who races a 215fwkw GTI with the same unit for over 12 months now.

How long did it take for people's stock DV to fail after a stage 1 ECU? Is it worth waiting for the stock to break, before getting this one?

Some people I know it went within 2 weeks others like myself its been 2 years and still no issues,
Oh yeah almost forgot, I bought a Forge DV a week after I had the Jetta flashed and its still sitting in my study lol.
If it does go I would be installing the above unit....
