Hi All,
I quick note about the jetta's 75,000 km service today.
Total cost $290.70 at the friendly Volkswagen dealer where the vehicle was purchased and service since new.
Note the it is a fully maintained lease so maybe that is why the cost seems low and friendly service.
This included the 75k service ($152 labour), rotate and balance all 4 tyres (no charge), a once over to check everything before it goes out of warranty on 27th Oct (no charge) and a check of the strange clicking noises behind the dash (no charge). It included a wash and a vacc too! And I made it home before the wet weather hit so at least it will stay clean for a few hours if only overnight before the commute to work tomorow.
They indicated that the noises behind the dash were a little more pronouned than normal however the aircon is operating as it should. Their advice was that if it should get louder than they would be prepared to fix under warranty and would need the car for a few days to do so. At this stage turning the stereo up a bit drowns out the noises from the aircon.
I'm still running on the original rotors and pads too!
Cheers and happy motoring to you all.
